It's nearly 2 am and what am I doing? I'm creating a family blog! Loyal was asleep, but woke up a couple hours ago and is wide awake. He is however content to play in his bouncy seat while I type away, so here I am!
Last night was really rough. I literally had 1 hour of sleep and then was up with Loyal all.night.long. It was nearly 8am by the time we both dozed off in my reclining chair in the front room, and not 30 minutes later Cana started knocking on her bedroom door letting me know she was ready to get up for the day. So I rushed Loyal into his crib before her knocking woke him up and got her up and fed. Then I was a lazy mama and set Cana up with cartoons and I snuggled up on the couch. I basically did nothing but rest on the couch for most of the day. My kind hubby was sweet enough to stop at the grocery store for me on his way home from work to get Cana more milk and some baby wipes and then stop and get me some much needed caffeine. The big news of the day though is that Loyal William Francis is 5 months old today! (well technically yesterday because it's now past midnight) It's crazy to me. I know all mom's say it, but time really DOES fly! I don't know how so much has happened in such a short amount of time. It seems I was just pregnant, and yet sitting next to me is this smiling, cooing, wiggly little boy who has a HUGE pile of outgrown clothes in the corner of his room. Time used to crawl by, now it zooms.
